The 2019 Australian PGA Championship will be played from 28 November – 1st December at RACV Royal Pines Resort on Queensland’s Gold Coast.

""The Australian PGA Championship will tee off a big three weeks of golf in Australia as it preceeds the Australian Open (5-8 December) and The Presidents Cup (12-15 December).

The move to the Gold Coast and RACV Royal Pines Resort in 2012, signalled a new era for the Australian PGA Championship which has evolved into an energetic, festive and celebratory week of golf which is focused on delivering an experience for fans.

“Since moving to the Gold Coast we have found a wonderful host venue in RACV Royal Pines Resort and we look forward to working with them to host the Australian PGA Championship again in 2019,” said Gavin Kirkman, CEO of the PGA of Australia which owns the ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia.

“What we have been able to achieve with the Greg Norman Medal, MyGolf Kids Day, Soniq Million Dollar Hole and now the Oakley Gold Coast Beach Club, all with the support of RACV, has taken the Australian PGA Championship to a new level of fan entertainment.

“I would also like to recognise the commitment from our partners; Tourism and Events Queensland and Gold Coast City Council for sharing our vision to create a world-class sporting event that is embraced by fans.”

RACV Royal Pines Resort looks forward to hosting the ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia and European Tour co-sanctioned tournament again in 2019.

RACV Executive General Manager Leisure, Craig Peachey, said, “We’re pleased to continue to grow our partnership with the PGA of Australia at a number of our resorts. This is the sixth time our Royal Pines Resort has hosted the Australian PGA Championship, and we’re looking forward to making the 2019 tournament a truly memorable event for all fans.”
