Senior, who has never played well at Pebble Beach, fired a 2-over 74 in the first round before moving to nearby Poppy Hills for round two where he also struggled to a 3-over 74.
Sunday’s round at Pebble Beach was marginally better with an even par 72 that moved him five places up the leader board but a T61 result was hardly what the Queenslander needs.
Languishing in 45th place on the Charles Schwab Cup points race with just three full field events to go Senior is in danger of losing full playing privileges on the over-50′s circuit next year.
Only the top-30 are guaranteed a card and while he would likely earn some starts it would be less than ideal.
