Adam Scott and wife Marie have welcomed a baby girl into the world over the weekend.

An official statement was released this morning by the Adam Scott Foundation confirming golfs most anticipated arrival.

"We are proud and happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Bo Vera Scott, born on Sunday 15 February 2015".

Brian Thorburn, Chief Executive Officer of the PGA, was delighted to hear of the couples announcement.

"On behalf of the PGA and the Membership I congratulate Adam and Marie on the safe arrival of baby Bo,"

"This is a very special and exciting time and we wish them all the best in this new chapter of their lives." 

Baby Bo was born at Pindara Hospital on the Gold Coast with the couple thanking medical staff for the safe arrival of their daughter.

"Thank you to Dr Flynn and the team at Pindara Private Hospital on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia."

Scotts first Tournament for the 2015 season will be the World Golf Championships (Cadillac Championship) in Miami on March 5.
