It will be a male versus female battle at Caboolture Golf Club tomorrow as Rick Coleman and Alexandra Orchard compete for the prestigious Pampling Plate.

Teeing off at 7am the pair will face off over 36 holes in
a tightly contested battle with ALPG player Orchard playing excellent golf and
Caboolture third year Trainee Coleman with local knowledge on his side.

To make it into the final Orchard won her round of eight
match 2&1 against leading qualifier Daniel Morgan.

She then faced off against Anna Stanton in an all-female
semi final. It took the full 18 holes for the pair to be separated with Orchard
eventually prevailing 1UP.

Coleman also faced a tough test on his journey to the
final.

He made it into the semi final having defeated Tim
Butterworth 2&1 then went on to beat Kris O’Sullivan 1UP.

A strong local crowd is sure to be cheering Coleman on in
the final while plenty of attention will also be on Orchard as she tries to
become the first female winner of the Pampling Plate.
