Hall bounces back in Dallas

After a horror start to the Web.com Tour season Ash Hall has taken a leaf out of Alistair Presnell’s book with his best finish of the year coming on the back of one of the best rounds of the final day at the greater Dallas Open.

"AshleyHall has teed up 11 times this year but
made the cut for just the third time this week, finally showing some form and
finishing T20 after a final round 67 in difficult conditions.

Fellow Victorian Alistair Presnell was
enduring a similar miserable run until a top-20 finish at the BMW Charity event
last month which he backed up at last week’s Rex Hospital Open.

While not quite as strong this week,
Presnell was one of seven Australians to make the cut, finishing T52 at what is
a new event on the schedule of the secondary Tour.

Adam Crawford and Bronson La’Cassie shared
20th position with Hall while Bryden Macpherson played the weekend for just the
third time this season and finished T27.

Nick Flanagan made his second cut of the
year as he tries to come back from thumb surgery in 2014 and showed some
encouraging signs in finishing T38.

Brett Drewitt was the last of the
Australians to make the cut and after three excellent rounds to start the week
will be bitterly disappointed with a Sunday 79 which dropped him from inside
the top-20 all the way to T67.

Missing the weekend were Mathew Goggin, Oliver Goss, Rod
Pampling, James Nitties, Rhein Gibson, Aron Price and Steve Allan.
