Michael Sim has won the Mercedes Benz Gold Coast Sanctuary Cove Pro-Am and the last tournament on the 2015 Choice Hotels PGA Pro-Am Series Sunshine Swing.
Sim fired a 5-under 67 around the Pines course for a one shot victory over Matthew Guyatt, who was fresh off a plane following Japan Qualifying School finished in outright second, one shot ahead Adam Stephens and Aaron Cox.
It has been a solid year for Sim on course, culminating with victory.
"I can’t complain about the year that I have had, it has been quite solid and given me plenty of confidence for the year ahead," said Sim.
"Since I played this event last year, I have built a great friendship with Nick Hughston from Mercedes Benz Gold Coast, and it was great to again have an opportunity to play with him today. It no doubt helps your game when you are playing with a group you feel comfortable with and this certainly assisted with me getting up for the win today."
Professionals will now enjoy some much deserved time off before the Sunshine Swing kicks off in mid April 2016.
