Marc Leishman continues to round gather form with another good week at the Waste Management Phoenix Open spoiled only by a disappointing Sunday.
Leishman was again on the edge of contention beginning the final round at TPC Scottsdale but, as he has in recent weeks, struggled in the final round.
Five shots off the pace with 18 to play, Leishman produced a lot of good golf to give himself a chance but two bogeys in his first four holes saw him fall out of contention.
Despite his Sunday struggles, however, Leishman will take plenty of positives from the week in Arizona where he made 14 birdies over the 72 holes on a course not traditionally to his liking.
His 2-over effort in the final round dropped Leishman from T7 after 54 holes to T24, two shots ahead of next best Australian Matt Jones.
Playing on an invitation, Jones saved his best till last with a final round 66 to jump 18 places up the standings to T36.
The 2015 Australian Open winner lost his full playing status at the end of last year and will have limited playing opportunities in 2017.
Cameron Smith and Geoff Ogilvy, the last of the Australians to make the cut, went backwards in the final round, Smith firing a Sunday 71 to be T42 and Ogilvy a 1-over 72 to be T47.
Aaron Baddeley, Greg Chalmers, Rod Pampling and Steven Bowditch all missed the weekend.
