The Victorian Leg of the PGA Legends Tour wrapped up today at Werribee Golf Club where 46 Senior Professionals including Peter Senior competed in the Genesis Hyundai Legends Pro Am.
Blustery warm conditions made scoring tough and Senior set the pace returning a 1-under par 71, but it was Australian PGA Seniors Champion Martin Pettigrew who mastered the conditions to record a 4-under 68 which included five birdies and one bogey to win by three.
John Martin was also on 71 with Senior and Victorian Glenn Joyner was a further shot back.
The Tour moves on to Tura Beach next week before heading over to South Australia.
The previous day had seen Simon Corbett, David Merriman and Senior card 4-under 68’s to share the win at Growling Frog where the event raised $48,000 for the Northern Health Foundation.
