Mike Harwood has finished just outside the top-10 to claim Australian honours at the Swiss Seniors Open at the Golf Club Bad Ragaz.

Harwood opened the tournament with an impressive 65 to be T6 and backed up with 68-69 to eventually secure a share of 11^th place.

That was one shot better than Peter O’Malley who closed with his best round of the week, a 5-under 65 that saw him to T16.

Peter Fowler, returning from America where he was the lone Australian in the field at the US Senior Open, wasn’t at his best for the week and finished T35 after rounds of 73-67-69.
