Peter Fowler is on track to break into the top five on the European Senior Tour Order of Merit with a good result at this week’s Travis Perkins Masters in England.

""The five-time Senior Tour winner moved to eighth on the standings with his T5 finish last week and heads to Woburn Golf Club, where he has had success before, with plenty of confidence.

Fowler has finished top five in two of his last three appearances at this tournament and was also runner-up in 2012 so has shown a liking for the layout.

2017 has been yet another stellar year for the New Zealand based Fowler as he once again heads the Australians on the over 50’s circuit.

Mike Harwood and Peter O’Malley will join Fowler in the field this week, Harwood enjoying a decent year of his own at 16th on the Order of Merit while O’Malley hasn’t been quite at his best to be 37th.
