After a brilliant finish to last week’s Boise Open a confident Camron Percy will head to a happy hunting ground in Ohio this week as he tries to put a 2018 PGA TOUR card beyond doubt.

Percy led last year’s DAP Championship through 36 holes and while he eventually finished T10 he clearly found the Canterbury Golf Club to his liking.

The only Australian currently inside the top 25 in Finals earnings, Percy has the opportunity this week to ensure a 2018 PGA TOUR card with a high finish.

He presently sits 14^th on the money list with only this week and next remaining to hold his place in the top 25.

Rookie Curtis Luck is on the outside looking in as he stands 26^th in earnings for the four tournament Finals though a brilliant final round last week will have given him confidence heading to Ohio.

Luck was languishing in the bottom third of the field after three rounds of the Boise Open but produced a 5-under Sunday to climb back up the standings.

Only one player signed for a better score on the day and Luck, who has already proved he has the game to compete on the PGA TOUR, will be anxious to go on with the job this week.

There are nine Australasians teeing up in this week’s tournament with Scott Hend electing not to play for unknown reasons.

Steve Alker, Stuart Appleby, Rhein Gibson, Matt Jones, Jamie Arnold, Brett Drewitt and Tim Wikinson join Percy and Luck in this week’s field.

Gibson, Appleby, Jones and Arnold have all missed the cut in each of the first two events and now face a Herculean task to climb into the top 25.

Brett Drewitt sits T33 in earnings and with some solid golf over the next two weeks could play his way in while both New Zealanders, Steve Alker and Tim Wilkinson, have work to do.

Alker is 54^th in the standings while Wilkinson is 62^nd.
