After making his first cut in three starts on the Japan Tour last week Jordan Zunic will make a fourth appearance when he tees up this week at the inaugural Musee Platinum Open.

"JordanZunic, who earned three starts in Japan courtesy of his New Zealand Open victory in March, has been included in this week’s field after finishing T59 at last week’s Sega Sammy Cup.

Zunic, who had no status on any Tour prior to winning in New Zealand, has been grabbing every playing opportunity possible and will welcome the chance to tee up again this week and build on the momentum of last week’s performance.

Zunic is one of 13 Australasians in this week’s field, the Down Under presence on the Japan Tour in 2015 almost matching that of the Web.com Tour.

Zunic joins Peter Wilson, Scott Strange, Brad Kennedy, Matthew Guyatt, Matt Griffin, Steve Conran, Brendan Jones, David Smail, Kurt Barnes, Adam Bland, Michael Hendry and Won Joon Lee in the field.

With both Adam Bland and Michael Hendry registering victories this year and Brad Kennedy twice a runner-up 2015 is shaping as a bumper year for the Australasians on what is an increasingly attractive Tour in Japan.

Brendan Jones has long been Australia’s most successful player in that part of the world but with more Australian and New Zealand players setting their sights on Japan each year he will have plenty of competition in years to come.
