Logistics WA PGA Championship.
Starting the final round five shots off the lead, Stephen
Dartnall played an impressive final round, shooting 6-under 66 to claim the
victory.
With rounds of 72, 67, 67, 66 for a tournament total
16-under the card, Dartnall won the tournament by one shot from overnight
leader Aaron Pike and Tour rookie Lindsay Wilson.
Dartnall turned Professional in 2008 and has come close to
winning on the PGA Tour of Australasia numerous times. Today with a birdie at
the 18th he finally broke through.
Dartnall becomes the second consecutive West Australian to
win the TX Civil and Logistics WA PGA Championship after Brett Rumford won the
tournament last year with the same score.
With this win Stephen Dartnall collects $18,000 and moves to
15th on the PGA Tour of Australasia Order of Merit.
