Brett Rumford will head into the final round of the TX Civil & Logistics WA PGA Championship with a four shot lead.
Firing his third round of 5-under 67, Rumford is 15-under the card thanks to staying patient on course throughout the tournament.
Joining him in the final group tomorrow are Jason Norris and Daniel Nisbet who each fired 1-under 71 today to be 11-under the card after three rounds.
Rounding out the top-5 on 9-under the card are Aaron Pike and amateur Min Woo Lee who had 2-under 70 and 1-over 73 respectively in the third round.
All players agreed that conditions in Kalgoorlie were much tougher today than they had seen in the first two rounds.
Despite the temperature being a little cooler, the consistent swirling wind made the course a more challenging proposition.
Also making a trip out to Kalgoorlie Golf Course today was the man responsible for the spectacular layout, Graham Marsh.
Marsh was on site to inspect his design and see how the Professionals tackle the course. This is his second trip to the WA PGA Championship after he also attended in 2012 when the tournament was first played in Kalgoorlie.
The final round of the TX Civil & Logistics WA PGA Championship will tee off at 8am tomorrow with the final group of Rumford, Nisbet and Norris on course at 9.30am.

Key quotes:
Brett Rumford, 67, 67, 67, 15-under, 1st
"That was a different day in terms of the conditions, it was really windy out there and blustery. The last couple of days have been windy but it has dropped off a lot. With the changing winds out there, it changes seemingly on every single tee going by the map in the book, which makes it hard to trust the numbers."
"I came a little unstuck on 15 today with a wedge in my hand. Purely just didn’t trust the number with the wind and made a bad swing because of it but apart from that it was just a really patient day today."
"Just keeping it in the fairway, I’m not trying to overpower the golf course or do anything silly. Just keeping the swing controlled and within myself, just trying to control my flight and stick to my game plans, that is about as simple as its been and its working well."
"I understand the golf course can turn and four shots is nothing on a course like this if the elements really start to pick up but it’s handy none the less."
Jason Norris, 65, 69, 71, 11-under, tied 2nd
"I am a bit disappointed to be four away. Rummy played really well today, putted well and played pretty solid. It wasn’t that easy out there today but he made it look easy."
"I hit 16 greens again today. I have hit 16, 17 and 16 greens in regulation and just haven’t made the putts."
"Rummy has been there many times before, you wouldn’t think he will shoot over par but sometimes the putts don’t go in on the last day. It’s up to us to shoot a good number I think."
"I will be going out and playing aggressive but just trying to be more confident on the greens tomorrow. Hopefully hit a few shots closer to the hole and not have 10 footers all day."
Daniel Nisbet, 65, 69, 71, 11-under, tied 2nd
"I came home with 3-under on the back-9, I am happy with that. It was windy out there and the pins were pretty tough so 3-under and I am pretty happy, I just wish it wasn’t 2-over on the front."
"It was tough; I had a few words to myself after 9 holes and then pulled my head in a little bit. I hit a few more fairways, and knocked it on the green in regulation and had a few putts go in."
"I didn’t hit it too bad, I just wasn’t in the right part of the fairway for some of the pins. I have to place the ball a little bit better so I’ll have a look at the yardage book tonight and try to figure that out."
"This is a tough course, even shots down the fairway can get into a little bit of trouble, like I found today, you have to be in the right spot. Brett is obviously a good placement player so it’s going to be tough to chase him down but hopefully a few putts roll in and it might happen."
