The second Major of the year is just a week away when the U.S. Open begins Friday 16 June Australian time and the tee times for the opening round have been released.

""Five Australians have stamped their ticket to compete at Erin Hills with Jason Day, Adam Scott, Marc Leishman, Wade Ormsby and Nick Flanagan flying the flag.

All five tee off in the afternoon field, making it easy to catch all the action live on Friday morning down under!

Ormsby tee’s it up in his first ever Major after earning his spot through Sectional Qualifying at Walton Heath. The 37-year-old Adelaide Professional will be the first Aussie on course at 12:30pm local time, 3:30am Friday morning AEST, he’s off with South African Oliver Bekker and USA’s Kyle Thompson.

Next up is Victorian Marc Leishman, the winner of this year’s Arnold Palmer Invitational will begin his U.S. Open campaign at 1:14pm (4:14am Friday morning AEST) alongside Korean Si Woo Kim and American Pat Perez.

New South Welshman Nick Flanagan is the latest Australian to make it in the field through Sectional Qualifying earlier this week and last played the U.S. Open in 2004 as an amateur after he won the U.S. Amateur title in 2003. He’s off at 1:25pm (4:25am Friday morning AEST) with Scotland’s Richie Ramsay and American Bryson DeChambeau.

Adam Scott tee’s off shortly after at 1:36pm (4:36am Friday morning AEST) in what will no doubt be one of the most popular groups to follow. The Queenslander is set to play with 2017 Masters Champion Sergio Garcia and fan favourite Bubba Watson, certainly one of the marquee groups in the field.

Australia will be able to catch most of Jason Day’s round before heading off to work Friday morning, he’s off at 5:09am AEST and 2:09pm local time. He too is part of a group to certainly have a large gallery on course, teeing off with Justin Rose and Rory McIlroy.

Full round one tee times available here.

The U.S. Open will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 501 from 3:00am Friday 16 June.
