Claiming the top prize after firing seven birdies, including two in a row on the 1st and 2nd, 11th and 12th holes, Burdett praised the pristine greens in WA for the top performance.
“These greens could have been the best we have putted on,” said Burdett at the conclusion of his round.
“All the events have had perfect surfaces over here.”
A field of 56 Professionals teed it up in one of the WA Ladbrokes Pro-AM Series swing’s favourite events with the fifth event of the calendar once again proving to be a tough challenge for players.
Continuing his fine form in WA James Anstiss added a second place result to go with Monday’s WA Golf Club Pro-Am win with a round of 4-under 68 at Kwinana Golf Club.
One of Australia’s most consistent golfers Matt Millar posted another impressive round of 3-under 69, joining Peter Wilson and Daniel Fox in a tie for third place.
As the WA swing continues player’s next head to Gosnells Golf Club for the Gosnells Golf Club Pro-Am.
“I’m looking forward to Gosnells tomorrow and then heading down South for the first time to play,” Burdett added.
“I’ve heard nothing but great things around the remaining events.”
Play begins at 12:00pm AWST.

Next stop was the Kwinana Golf Club Pro-Am, a hidden gem south of Perth. Players arrived to the immaculately presented woodlands course with some of the fastest greens they were going to face all year.
Nine players finished under-par with six of them shooting 1-under par 71. West Australian Daniel Fox was outright third with 2-under 70 while last week’s WA PGA runner-up Brody Martin continued his fine play posting a 3-under par 69 to finish second.
It was Braden Becker though who had the blade rolling nicely to jump the field posting a superb 5-under par 67 and take home the title.
“The course was presented amazing, congratulations to superintendent Peter Flemming and his staff for the job they did. I’m really enjoying my golf at the moment and am really looking forward to the rest of the swing and hopefully continuing the good golf,” said Becker.
Players now move a further 30 minutes south to the 54 hole Steel Scene Peel Pro-Am commencing today around the world-class golf courses in the Peel region, Mandurah CC, Meadow Springs CC and The Cut GC.
