Brady Watt has continued his strong form in his home state of Western Australia to win The Metal West Lakelands Pro-Am at Lakelands Country Club.
Topping the leaderboard with a sensational round of 6-under 66, Watt now moves into the lead of the National Pro-Am Order of Merit where he holds a further two Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series victories, accrued in New South Wales and Victoria earlier this year.
“It’s great to get back to Lakelands, I use to play here all the time as an amateur and really love the course,” said Watt, who has been pleased with his consistency in 2019.
“I’m playing some really good golf at the moment and it was great to secure another win.”
South Australian Brad Moules completed the tournament in outright second place with a round of 5-under the card.
The high level of competition seen so far on the WA swing of the Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series continued at Lakelands Country Club where Correy Price, Scott Strange, Campbell Rawson and Brody Martin tied for third place at 4-under the card.
A further seven players tied for seventh place with rounds of 3-under 69 including Matthew Millar, Jarryd Felton and James Anstiss while a total of 27 professionals finished under par for the day.

Known for its perfect greens, the day was always going to provide the players with an opportunity to go low and continue the trend from previous events.
It was the afternoon field that produced the low scoring under the beautiful Perth sun. Gavin Reed and Victorian Hayden Webb shot 2-under 70 before Michael Long continued his great golf with 3-under 69.
In-form Brody Martin and Joondalup’s Teaching Professional Dean Alaban, still showing he can play some great golf with both shooting 4-under 68.
This only left the top two spots, runner-up going to Lakelands member Daniel Fox who shot a superb 7-under 65 to fall into second place.
“I played great and would have taken that score at the start of the day. Congrats to Braden that’s an amazing score out there and clearly deserves the podium spot,” said Fox.
It was Braden Becker though who shot a course record 10-under 62 who took home the $2,694 winner’s cheque.
The round, which included 11 birdies and a bogey, blitzed the field and gave Becker his second win in as many weeks and edge closer to Brody Martin, the current WA Order of Merit leader.
“It was one of those days where everything felt easy, it was on my mind and was a good opportunity to maybe get that special number of 59 but I’ll take the 62 and the win,” said Becker.
With this win he now leads the CCA Swing, this is a separate Order of Merit with a bonus for the leading player at CCA associated Club Pro-Am’s only.
Players now move to Gosnells Golf Club for the St Johns Brook Pro-Am on Friday.
