A stellar field assembled for the first event on the WA stretch of the Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series at the ADH Club Car Joondalup Pro-Am.
The sun was out and one of WA’s favourite courses was presented in stunning condition ready for the professionals to test their game.
At the end of day’s play, 12 players had broken par on what many professionals described as one of the best courses they had played in a long time.
WA local Brody Martin posted a solid 3-under 69 along with Victorian Deyen Lawson but it was Rory Bourke, Dale Brandt-Richards and Jack Wilson who took honours with rounds of 4-under 68.
“Congratulations must go to all today at Joondalup Country Club for a first class event especially to Ashley (JCC Superintendent) and his team,” said Wilson.
“What they presented out there today was second to none. I look forward to coming back next year.”
Lawson and Martin finished in a tie for fourth while Rick Kulacz, Simon Hawkes, Matthew Millar and Kieran Muir rounded out the top-10 at 2-under 70.
