Pacific Dunes Golf Club Head Professional Jamie Hook as claimed the PGA Professionals Championship of NSW/ACT in a two-way playoff at Castle Hill Country Club.
A strong field of 71 PGA Professionals were greeted to cold and wet conditions on the Par 72 layout in Sydney’s North West on Tuesday morning.
Following an extended weather delay during the middle of the day it was Hook who set the clubhouse lead with 1-under par 71.
He was joined shortly after by Avondale’s Jonathan Painter with a playoff required to determine the winner of this year’s event. A par on the first playoff hole was enough to secure the outright win for Hook.
14 qualifiers from the NSW/ACT event have earned the opportunity to contest the National Final at Hamilton Island Golf Club, to be played from November 19 – 22.
