""Tinkler backed up his first round of 66 with 1-under par 71 to win by three shots from Queenslanders Brad Burns and Nigel Lane.

On a day that was nearly cut short by a late thunderstorm, Tinkler managed to hang on, even with Burns eagling the par-5 16th to get within two shots.

Tinkler admitted that after cruising to 66 in round one, the 71 came much harder but playing with Burns pushed him to grind out the win.

The Bermagui Course was presented immaculately and has become one of the most popular stops on the Ladbrokes Legends Tour.

Ladbrokes Legends Tour chairman Terry Price praised the committee and staff at the club and told them how much the Legends Tour enjoys coming to the area.

The tour now moves on to Batemans Bay to play Catalina on Thursday and Friday.
