A stunning day greeted golfers for the Coca-Cola Shelly Beach Pro-Am

Taking full advantage of the beautiful morning conditions was Manly professional Taylor Cooper who shot 4-under 67.

As the wind picked up during the day it would take something special to beat Cooper.

Matthew Millar produced that something special. Millar shot 5-under 66 which included a run of six straight 3’s to finish off his front nine.

“I could have had anything today," said Millar.

“I’ve played well over the last two weeks and have had success here in the past. I love the golf course it’s always in great condition.”

Taylor Cooper held on to second place for a runner-up finish with his 4-under 67 just one shot ahead of a trio of players.

Rounding out the top five was Tim Hart, Brody Martin & Alex Edge with 3-under 68.

The next stop for the NSW/ACT swing of the Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series is Kooindah Waters Thursday.
