The 2018 TX Civil and Logistics WA PGA Championship will coincide with the 125th anniversary of Paddy Hannan striking gold for the first time in the Kalgoorlie region.

The visually stunning Kalgoorlie Golf Course will once again play host to the ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia from 10 – 13 May 2018.

Off the back of a successful 2017 tournament which saw the 2017 ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia Player of the Year Dimitrios Papadatos claim his second victory of the season, TX Civil and Logistics as well as the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder have extended their support of the WA PGA Championship for the next three years until 2020.

“After being a part of this great tournament for the last three years and seeing the event grow, it was an easy decision to make,” said TX Civil and Logistics Company Director, Zak Raad.

“To give these great young Professionals an opportunity to play another event on the ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia schedule at such a unique place is the main drive behind our decision.”

Kim Felton, State Manager of the WA PGA thanked TX Civil and Logistics and the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder for their continued support of the tournament.

“It’s amazing to have two such great supporters of not only the WA PGA Championship, but golf in Western Australia,” said Felton.

“The PGA is very grateful to have both TX Civil and Logistics along with the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder back on board and really stamp the region as the ‘Home of the WA PGA’.

“2018 will be a huge year with celebrating the first gold discovery and we are excited to tie in some really cool initiatives to engage the community to celebrate and showcase this very special place.”
