Testing conditions greeted players at the difficult Kooralbyn Valley layout with gusting winds and lightning-fast greens presenting a challenge.
The wild weather did little to deter Hart, however, who posted a fantastic bogey-free round to finish three shots clear of European Tour professionals Sam Brazel and Deyen Lawson.
“I struck the ball well out there and made some crucial 15-foot putts to save par when I needed them,” said Hart.
“This is the second time I have seen the course so I felt comfortable knowing where to hit it.
“I’ve been playing well recently which gave me the confidence to be aggressive off the tee.”
Enjoying a few weeks break from Europe, European Tour professionals Sam Brazel and Deyen Lawson have each fired rounds of 4-under 68 to finish in a tie for second place.
“This is a great golf course and I really enjoyed the challenge of the layout,” said Brazel.
“I played good golf out there including a few great saves; the greens were outstanding, full credit to all the staff here at Kooralbyn.”
“I made a few soft bogeys out there,” said Lawson.
“I was fortunate that each time I made a bogey I bounced straight back with a birdie, which kept the round together.”
The next best placed professional was Brett Rankin who finished in outright fourth place on 3-under 69.
The next stop on the Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series is the Bell Property Bulimba Pro-Am on Friday 2 August 2019.

“This was my first time seeing the course and it is fairly impressive, the views on some of the tees are amazing.”
Finishing tied for second place were Jay Mackenzie and Brett Rankin with rounds of 7-under 65.
“This is my best finish on the Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series and I’m thrilled,” said Mackenzie.

Firing 7-under 63 in the opening round, Hart took a two-shot lead into the final round where he and Darren Beck sat tied at the top of the leaderboard.
Consistency and a Sunday round of 6-under 64 featuring three birdies, two eagles and a bogey saw Hart prevail in clear, warm Queensland conditions.
His 36 hole total of 13-under 127 was two shots clear from his nearest rival, rookie PGA Professional Shae Wools-Cobb.
“Without my putting I would not have won today,” said Hart
“I recently went left hand low and have been working really hard on making it work and with a new mental outlook it has paid off.”
For Wools-Cobb his second-round 8-under 62 and 11-under 129 total was not only his best round as a professional but also helped him to his best result.
Today’s round included eight birdies, an eagle and two bogeys.
“They say it is a big step from amateur golf to professional golf and they are right,” said Wools-Cobb.
“I have played well since turning pro and it has been a learning curve particularly here in the mining towns. I’ve had a fantastic time.”
One shot further back in outright third place was overnight equal leader Darren Beck from NSW who was in contention all day but rued some missed opportunities.
The final round of the Lunar Mining Emerald Pro-Am also saw the completion of the Onsite Rental Group Mining Town Series.
It was a runaway victory in the end for Tim Hart who was simply unstoppable with a six event, 12-round total of seventy two under par (-72), pocketing a bonus cheque of $5,000.
“To average 6-under per round for the past twelve rounds is awesome,” said Hart.
“I was not planning on attending any of the tour schools this year however the way I am now playing and with the bank balance looking a lot healthier, China and even the Web.com Tour now come into play.”
Finishing 10 shots adrift in second place was past series winner and fellow Queenslander Brett Rankin at -62 with Dane Williamson from NSW rounding out the top three a further three shots adrift at -59.
The series was conducted over six pro-am tournaments throughout the mining towns to great success, and the PGA of Australia and Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series is pleased to have Onsite Rental Group committed as the naming rights sponsor of the Mining Towns swing for the next two years.

Tim Hart has continued his dominance on the Onsite Rental Group Mining Towns Series, winning the Middlemount South Pro-Am at Middlemount Golf Club with rounds of 65, 69 for a tournament total of 134.
The challenging Middlemount layout proved the toughest test so far for the 49 Professionals competing in this year’s Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series event, with Hart claiming the win by just one shot over Matthew Millar after holding the overnight lead.
His second win in just three events, Hart made the turn at 3-under 34 followed by a closing 9 of 1-under 35 on his way to a 3-under 69 final round.
“I got off to a good start again today, making birdies on the first two holes which helped to settle me into the round,” said Hart.
“I was watching the leaderboard and I could see Matt Millar having a great round out there, I could see him closing the gap.
"On the back-9 I was just trying to hold it all together, I made a great 10-foot par saving putt on the 17th hole which I really needed to maintain my one-shot lead and the chance to win.
“I’m pleased to get the win and I am looking forward to the rest of the Onsite Rental Group Series.”
Experienced Professional Matthew Millar was the only player to mount a charge for the lead in round two shooting the low round of the day, an 8-under 64, to storm home into outright second position on a tournament total of 135.
“The last couple of days I have started to hit the ball a lot better,” said Millar.

This coming WA Day long weekend in Western Australia marks the return of the Nexus Risk Services South West Open as part of the WA Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series.
Hosting one of the strongest fields assembled in years, the $35,000 event will see two Australian Champions tee it up together, vying for a title they don’t wish to share.
The golf industry was divided in December 2002 when the loss of light at the Australian PGA Championship meant Peter Lonard and Jarrod Moseley shook hands after one play-off hole and agreed to share the illustrious title.
While the two have played many events on global tours together since the controversial decision, the South West Open will be the first time the two have played in the same field in many years.
Former European Tour winner and 1999 PGA Tour of Australasia Order of Merit winner Jarrod Moseley will be welcomed back to competitive golf after stepping away from the game in 2012 to take on a Productions and Operations FIFO role in the iron ore industry.
“I’ve have missed the competitive part of the game, that’s for sure,” said Moseley.
“I still play socially but I really wanted to dip my toe back into tournament golf and the South West Open is a sensational event that is close to home, so it’s the perfect event to come back to.”
Having not played in a professional event in seven years, Moseley said he has mixed emotions heading into round one.
“I haven’t had nerves like this for a long time but can’t wait to tee it up on Saturday and hopefully get back some of those great feelings being out on course again,” Moseley added.
“No matter the result, it will just be great to be back playing the game that has given me so much.”
Moseley will be joined by his 2002 Australian PGA Championship co-winner Peter Lonard who has been enjoying the Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series in Perth over the past few weeks.
Lonard took advantage of a couple of days break in the schedule by heading to Bunbury Golf Club early to get a sneak peak of the tricky track.
“The course looks absolutely sensational, like I remember it back in the day and I’m really looking forward to playing this fantastic event again,” Lonard said.
“I was here around 25 years ago travelling the whole swing with my mates, now it’s great to be able to do it with the family.
“I’ve really enjoyed seeing a lot of the guys over the past few weeks and it will be great to catch up with Mose again after all these years!”
The strong field will be further boosted by current WA PGA Champion Michael Long, European and Asian tour player Terry Pilkadaris and 2018 South West Open Winner, Braden Becker.
The players will tee it up in the Qube Port and Bulk Sponsors Day on Friday, with round one teeing off Saturday morning from 7.15am at Bunbury Golf Club.

Tim Hart has played exceptional golf around the challenging Mackay Golf Club layout to claim victory by three shots in the 31st staging of the CMR Mackay Pro-Am.
Starting the day two shots clear of the field at the two-day event, Hart remained in control from start to finish to enter the clubhouse at the conclusion of round two with a tournament total of 11-under par 131, despite the efforts of a number of players to mount a charge for the lead.
This is the third win this year on the Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series for the 29-year-old who has had success in Victoria, New South Wales and now Queensland.
“My goal the last couple of days was just to play mistake-free golf,” said Hart. “I managed another bogey-free again today which I pleased with.”
“I played solid golf on the front-9 and made the turn 2-under, then I just tried to hold on the back-9 finishing 1-under.
“I made two long putts to save par on the 15th and 17th holes which really kept me in it.”
“I really enjoy the course here in Mackay and it was presented really well for the Pro-Am, full credit to all involved.”
Finishing in a tie for second position was experienced professional Brad Burns and Brad Doherty who has been in good form of late, both completing the tournament on 8-under 134.
“I was pleased with my game today,” said Burns.
“I felt I was in with a chance over the final nine holes. I went for it down the 18th hole and ended up three putting for a bogey six to finish the day.”
Doug Klein and Andrew Campbell tied for fourth place with totals of 7-under 135, while Shae Wools-Cobb recorded a total of 6-under to claim sixth.

Rounds of 5-under 66 took the pair to the top of the leaderboard following consistent play, an element that Hart is pleased to see return to his game following a stint on the sidelines due to injury.
“I struggled with some injuries last year so to be injury free is great,” said Hart.
“It’s great to be back playing some of my best golf again”.
Players were greeted with a heavy golf course under foot and a tricky wind, making scoring difficult.
Despite just three players shooting a score under par in the morning field, testing conditions eased as the day went on and scoring improved for afternoon players.
Mr consistent Matthew Millar completed the tournament in third place at 4-under 67, ahead of James Nitties in outright fourth place at 3-under the card.
Matthew Stieger, Bradley Doherty and Robert Hogan rounded out the top five with rounds of 2-under 69.

The strongest field ever assembled for the annual event with leading professionals Matthew Millar, David Bransdon, Simon Hawkes and Marcus Fraser joined by ex-AFL star and Traralgon native Brendon Goddard, who is playing as an elite amateur.
Hot and humid conditions persisted throughout the morning, while young Professionals Adam Burdett and Jack Murdoch took advantage of the still conditions to record 6-under and 5-under respectively.
However, big hitting Queensland player Tim Hart was the man to beat, setting the course alight after starting with a birdie on the 17th hole.
Additional birdies on the 2nd, 3rd, 7th and 8th holes as well as an eagle on the 5th took him to the turn at 7-under, one shot clear of Burdett.
An eagle on the 16th closed out his opening round at 9-under 63, equalling the Traralgon Golf Club course record.
Humid and still conditions were replaced by a hot north wind and high temperatures for the afternoon field, where 2018 ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia Player of the Year Matthew Millar set about chasing down Hart.
Millar opened his round on the 2nd hole and proceeded to shoot five birdies in a row in his first time playing the Traralgon Golf Club course.
Millar birdied the tough par-3 15th and then the short par-4 18th to get his round to 7-under, just two shots behind Hart.
Playing as an elite amateur, Brendon Goddard’s day was a roller coaster. Looking every bit the professional golfer at 2-under through three holes, it came crashing to a halt when he handed the shots back on the 5th, 8th and 9th to make the turn at 2-over par.
Goddard finished at 7-over for the day in a tie for 74th place.
Players return to the course on Thursday afternoon for the final round of the Traralgon Latrobe City WIN Network Pro-Am.
