Evans builds confidence in Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series

""The course was in great condition considering and the low scoring was a testament to the green staff.

Andrew Evans who has shown good form recently would take a one-stroke victory with a 5-under 65.

Evans won two weeks ago at the Central Connect Kooindah Waters Pro-Am and is starting to feel confident about his game heading into the third stage of the Japanese Qualifying School.

“I’m amazed we were able to play today after the recent weather. The green staff have done well to get the course playable,” said Evans.

“I’ve been seeing Gary Barter to fine tune my game and I’m starting to see some good results. I head up to the third stage of Japanese Qualifying School soon and my confidence is starting to grow."

Taylor Cooper would finish runner-up with a 4 under 66.

There was a nine-way logjam for third with rounds of 3-under 67 recorded by Patrick Joseph, Ben Talbot, Dylan Thompson, Billy Watson, Jason Wood, Torie Blakemore, Joel Graham, Brayden Peterson and Matthew Stieger

The NSW/ACT swing of the Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series moves to Everglades on Friday.
