Peter Senior and Craig Parry will fly the Australian flag in the fifth Champion Tour event of the season at this week’s Mississippi Gulf Coast Classic.

Parry makes his fourth start in his rookie season on the over 50’s circuit and after a mixed bag to date will be looking for more consistency this week.

The 50-year-old has played some good golf in patches but has failed to put three rounds together after a lengthy break from regular professional play.

As the year goes on his results should improve and with Senior now back in the US for the remainder of the year the pair are likely to drag each other along.

Senior is making his second appearance for the year after a solid start in Arizona two weeks ago.

Having successfully made the switch to the short putter at the Perth International last month the 56-year-old finished T21 in his first event back on American soil and, given this is his last year

playing full time, he will be motivated to perform every week.
