Jason Scrivener has backed up his impressive start on the European Tour after an exciting first round at the Joburg Open in South Africa.
Scrivener opened his Joburg Open campaign shooting a bogey free 7-under 64 and will start the second round just two shots back from South African leader, Nic Henning.
Other Australian in the field this week include Todd Sinnott, who carded a 2-under 69 in his opening round to sit at T64 on the leaderboard.
The Joburg Open is being played this week at Royal Johannesburg & Kensington Golf Club and is the third event in the 2015 Open Qualifying Series following the Emirates Australian Open in November and the Thailand Golf Championship in December.
Exemptions for The Open will be given to the leading three players who finish in the top ten and ties, and who are not already exempt. The Open will be played at the Home of Golf from 16-19 July 2015.
