Bryden Macpherson and Korea’s Rak Hyun Cho have been in a tight battle all year for top spot on the China Tour’s Order of Merit and with just three events left on the schedule it promises to be a thrilling finish to the season.

""The pair began 2017 in scintillating form and between them they shared victory in the first three events on the schedule.

Now, as the season draws to a close, less than AU$20,000 separates them at the top of the standings meaning the title is very much up for grabs.

Cho has held the lead since winning his second title of the year but Macpherson has steadily closed the gap with more consistent golf week to week.

The former British Amateur champion is one of five Australasians taking his place in the field this week alongside Maverick Antcliff, Kevin Yuan, Corey Hale and New Zealand’s Fraser Wilkin.

Antcliff has had an impressive rookie season in China and is presently ninth on the Order of Merit having earned his card at the qualifying school at the start of the year.

With five top-10 finishes in 10 starts (two of those top-5’s) and no missed cuts, 2017 has been a valuable learning experience for the 23-year-old who looks to have the game to play at a higher level.
