Scott Priest, a Teaching Professional at the Tasmania Golf Club in Hobart, has won the Tasmanian PGA Championship.

Played at the Country Club Casino in Launceston, Priest fired rounds of 76 and 69 to end the tournament on 3-over for a one stroke victory over fellow Tasmanian, Alex Hamilton

In windy conditions that made scoring difficult, Priest’s second round was the lowest of the championship by three strokes

This is the second time Priest has won the tournament having previously won the title back in 2010.
