Callan O’Reilly has dominated the Broome Furnishings/Carpet
Paint and Tile Pro-Am recording an emphatic eight shot victory.
Leading into the final round, O’Reilly produced a bogey free
7-under 65 to pick up the winner’s share of the $30,000 prize purse.
Feeling comfortable in the final round, the highlight of O’Reilly’s
day came early with an eagle on his second hole.
"I had a very consistent round today. An eagle on my second
hole got me off to a good start and from there I really just stuck to my course
management plan and played to the centre of the greens," said O’Reilly.
"To end my eight weeks in Western Australia with a win has
really finished off the trip well."
While O’Reilly ended the two rounds on 11-under 133, the
next best was West Aussie Kim Felton on 3-under the card.
Daniel Fox, Simon Houston and John Martino rounded out the
top-5 on 2-under the 142.
