"It’s a good feeling. I had a bit of a hiccup early which I wasn’t too stoked about but after that I played pretty nice. I’m looking forward to tomorrow," said Mueck.

"It’s not a bad position to be be in, I’m playing ok, it would have been nice to have a few better today; I missed a few short putts but made a couple which was nice too."

"I didn’t notice any difference from day to day, the greens are still pretty receptive and you can be pretty aggressive with your putts, so the course has held up really well."

Starting the day two shots off the lead, Mueck had a slow start to his 3-under 67 round firing a double bogey in his first three holes followed by two birdies in five holes on the front-9.

"ChrisMueck picked up the pace on the back-9 with four birdies coupled with a lone bogey on the par-4 17th to end the round on 13-under and one shot clear of Darren Beck and Adam Stephens who fired rounds of 2-under 68 and even par respectively to end round three on 11-under.

"I was pretty steady today but I don’t give myself a lot of chances. I snagged a couple of birdies then unfortunately missed birdie opportunities at the par-5 holes, but all in all it was pretty good, I just didn’t get the putts to drop," siad Beck.

"It’s a good feeling to be there in the end and only one shot behind so another good one tomorrow would be nice. I just have to keep doing what I’m doing, roll some putts in and see where I am coming down the last hole."

Queenslander Paul Hayden is a further shot back on 11-under the card after a 6-under 64 today.

Rounding out the top-10 on 10-under the card are David Klein, Ashley Hall and overnight leader, Taylor Macdonald.

The fourth round of the Coca-Cola Queensland PGA Championship will tee off at 8:50am with the lead group of Kristopher Mueck, Darren Beck, and Adam Stephens on course at City Golf Club at 10:30am.
