Overnight leader Matthew Millar continues to hold a one shot lead after firing a 4-over 76 today.

Millar leads the way on even par, one ahead of last week’s PCR Polyweld Mining Town Series champion Tim Hart.

Ed Stedman was the biggest mover in today’s second round, shooting a 4-under 68, finding himself in a share of third place with Adam Stephens, two shots behind Millar.

"Unfortunately I didn’t get off to the best of starts today, and when you do that around this course it turns into a real battle for the duration of the round," remarked Millar.

"I probably haven’t been that scratchy on the course all year and therefore when you mix that with a few short putts missed, you’re not going to shoot your best score. I will do a little practise this afternoon and hopefully I will see a few more putts fall into the cup tomorrow."

Adam Stephens and his team continue to lead the way in the team stableford competition with 172 points over the opening two rounds.

Team Stephens lead by one shot from the team that includes professional Charles Le Chevallier.
