Masters Tournament – Round 2 Afternoon Highlights

There has been some magnificent golf played at Augusta National in the afternoon from both the young guns on Tour and former Masters champions.

Playing earlier in the day, Charley Hoffman and Sergio Garcia set the lead at 4-under the card after rounds of 75 and 69 respecitvely.
Rising to the challenge to chase them down is Rickie Fowler, the popular young American firing 5-under after 14 holes to currently be T1.

Not to be out done, European Tour young gun Thomas Pieters is 4-under after 16 holes to also be T1.

For Australian golf fans and amateur Curtis Luck it is an anxious wait as he currently sits on the cut line of the top-50 players. But at 6-over, if the lead is 5-under at the end of the day he will miss under the 10 shot cut rule.

Adam Scott is leading the Aussie charge and producing plenty of birdies. He is -3 after 16 holes to be 11th on even par.
The other former Masters Champion producing plenty of highlights to the delight of the patrons is Fred Couples. He is -3 after 15 holes and T5 on -2.

Jason Day was in the mix until the par-3 11th struck again, the Queenslander double bogeyed the hole for the second consecutive day which tumbled him down the leaderboard to T35.
