Bryden Macpherson and Josh Geary will go head to head in the final event of the PGA TOUR China Series this week to determine who wins the year long Order Of Merit race and a full exemption to the Web.com Tour.

"JoshThe PGA Tour of Australasia members have seperated themselves from the rest of the field, Macpherson leading the list by less than AU$5,000 from his New Zealand counterpart with local Xinjun Zhang next best almost AU$50,000 behind.

Macpherson has posted two wins and and four other top 10 finishes in seven starts to amass AU$163,000 since returning to China in September while Geary has three wins in nine starts to earn AU$159,000.

The top five earners at season’s end will receive status on the Web.com Tour but the leading money winner earns a full card which vastly improves their chance of playing their way to the PGA TOUR.

Macpherson has proved himself the player to beat with some stunning performances since finishing a lacklustre season on the Web.com Tour in 2015.

His form has turned completely since retunring to China, Macpheson finishing outside the top five only once in his seven tournament appearances.

Geary got off to a hot start winning the first event of the season and while he has won twice more since his other results have not been ast strong as Macpherson’s.

Geary and Macpherson are the only two Australasians inside the top five, New Zealands’ Daniel Pearce sitting ninth and Australia’s Rohan Blizard 15th.
