Senior Professionals from across Australia and internationally are making their way to the sunshine state to compete in the QLD Swing of the E-Z-GO PGA Legends Tour.
The tour will again play host to a high caliber of players including Rodger Davis, Wayne Grady, Tim Elliot, David Merriman, Mike Harwood and Terry Price.
Commencing tomorrow, the events will remain on the Gold Coast and in the Brisbane metro area for two weeks before navigating their way west to the Darling Downs then through Wide Bay – Burnett regions.
The 2015 QLD Swing has grown extremely popular over recent years and will see more Senior Professionals than ever make their way to compete over the next five weeks across 14 events, making for the strongest seniors fields seen in recent years.
Rodger Davis is extremely positive about the popularity of the events.
"The E-Z-GO Legends tour continues to attract many players who are still very competitive and are looking to support pro-am golf," said Davis.
"It’s encouraging to see the calibre of golf that is on display and have the support of players that are very well known for their achievements both in Australia and overseas."
Whilst there will be many Professionals who support a number of events nationally and abroad, a large contingent of Professionals will be juggling their full time commitments as Head Professionals, Teaching Professionals and other golfing industry roles in order to play the QLD tournaments and continue to grow and develop the game of golf.
The first event will be held tomorrow at Helensvale Golf Club.
