Professionals were welcomed to one of the longest running pro-am on the Choice Hotels PGA Pro-Am Series Sunshine Swing yesterday as the Howeston Pro-Am celebrated its 36th anniversary.
Daniel McGraw, Chris Wood and Tim Hart etched their names into to silverware this year following a 3-under 68 round.
2015 continues to be a break out year for Hart, with yesterday’s win not only extending his lead at the top of the MLC Advice Nundah Order of Merit, but also his sixth win on Tour this season.
Many greats of Australian Golf have played in the Howeston Pro-Am including, Peter McWhinney, Ossie Moore and Terry Price.
The Sunshine Swing will now make way for the PGA Tour of Australasia which heads over to Fiji next week for the Fiji International, before returning for the $60,000 Bartons/BMD Wynnum Pro-Am in early December.
