The Pullman Magenta Shores Resort Pro-Am title was shared by four players, overnight leader Dale Brandt- Richards, Damien Jordan, Grant Thomas and Taylor Cooper could not be separated over the two days, all finishing 1-under.
All four players were in the mix after round one but Brandt –Richards had the advantage with a two shot lead heading into the final round.
The ever consistent Brandt-Richards seemed to be in control of the tournament until he made a double bogey on the par 5 10th hole which gave the chasing pack hope.
The trio of Jordan, Thomas and Cooper took full advantage to join Brandt – Richards and share first place.
In the past two weeks Jordan has finished 9th in the Nexus Risk TSA Group WA Open and 4th in the Isuzu Queensland Open on the ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia so it was no surprise seeing him at the top of the leaderboard.
"I’ve been in good form over the past two weeks but just haven’t finished the way I’d like," Jordan said.
"It’s good to go on and tie for the win on such a challenging golf course. The course was in fantastic condition and a great test leading into the NSW Open and Australian Open in the next couple of weeks."
Rounding out the top-5 was Tim Stewart who finished the pro-am on even par.
The 2016 champion and recent Central Connect Kooindah Waters Pro-Am winner Matthew Stieger shot rounds of 77 and 75 for 8-over which would see him finish tied for 18th place.
