Victorian Mark Hensby holds a share of the lead at the inaugural Barbasol Championship on the PGA TOUR.
Hensby birdied three of the final four holes for a 7-under 64 round to finish 9-under and a tie of the lead with Korean Whee Kim at RTJ Trail in Alabama.
"I played well. I gave myself a lot of chances," Hensby told the AP.
"I hit a couple of wayward ones, but I haven’t played in a tournament in quite some time."
"You get a little nervy in the middle, but then I kind of settled down and hit some good shots."
"This is my first tournament in quite some time. It’s good to be back."
Hensby has struggled with rotator cuff problems in his right shoulder in recent years and holds limited TOUR status. In 2004 he won the John Deere Classic, his sole victory on the PGA TOUR.
