Playing in the season opening tournament, Hendry broke through for his first victory on the Japan Golf Tour collecting approximately AU$280,000.
Starting the final round three shots off the lead, Hendry fired an impressive 7-under 64 to claim the title by one stroke from Kazuhiro Yamashita.
It was a dominant performance by the 35-year-old who was bogey free on Sunday.
Hendry earned his Japan Tour card in 2013 via Qualifying School where he just managed to retain his card for the 2014 season.
Last year Hendry recorded two top-10 finishes which saw him finish 51st on the Order of Merit.
On the PGA Tour of Australasia, Hendry has recorded back-to-back victories at the NZ PGA Championship in 2012 and 2013.
