Victorians Michael Choi and Ashley Hall split the decision in the Kwinana Golf Club Pro-Am both shooting 6-under 66 on a perfectally prepared course.

""Many in the field were fresh off the TX Civil & Logistics WA PGA Championship and were able to take advantage of soft conditions and perfect greens to post some great scores. At the end of play 22 of 52 players finished under par.

Hall continued to gather momentum ahead of his start in The Open Championship in July. He was quick to praise the Kwinana Golf Club Course Superintendant Peter Flemming for presenting a pristine track for the field.

“Credit to Peter Flemming, the course was set up perfectly even after the wet weather over the last couple of days,” Hall said.

“It’s a great golf course that all the members should be proud of and I can’t wait to be back.”

Choi, who returns to the winning circle after a length hiatus said he’s hopeful the win is a sign of things to come.

“It’s been a long time between drinks, it all came together well today and I hope more of this form can continue over the next few months leading into the Australian summer,” Choi said.

Ryan Lynch (VIC) finished third on 5-under 67 while Chris Wood (QLD), Campbell Rawson (NZ) and Adam Burdett (VIC) shared fourth placing with 4-under 68.

Rawson also scored the clubs first ever Albatross, getting off to a flying start on the par-5 first hole.

The WA swing of the Ladbrokes PGA Pro-Am Series now moves to the 2016 Pro-Am of the Year, The Steelscene Peel Pro-Am.

The first round starts today at Mandurah CC followed by Meadow Springs CC Thursday and the final round played Friday at The Cut Golf Club.
