Green getting back on track

After four consecutive missed cuts Richard Green got his season back on track with his equal best result of 2015 at the Omega European Masters in Switzerland.

After four consecutive missed cuts Richard Green got his season back on track with his equal best result of 2015 at the Omega European Masters in Switzerland.

"RichardGreen finished T10 at Crans-sur-Sierre, the
same result he posted at the Irish Open five weeks ago before the mini slump
which saw him with four straight weekends off.

The left hander’s opening round 65, his
first sub 70 score since the third round of the BMW PGA Championship at
Wentworth in May, had him just two off the pace after 18 holes and in a share
of third position.

He backed up with a Friday 67 to still be
in touch with the leaders but a disappointing 1-over 71 in round three dropped
him five behind and with work to do.

Two bogeys in his first three holes Sunday
put winning out of reach but Green hung tough with three birdies on the way in
for his third under par round of the week and second biggest cheque of the
year.

Nathan Holman was next best of the Australians
at 3-under for the week and T37 with Andrew Dodt (T53) and Marcus Fraser (T60)
the only other Australians to make the cut.

European Tour players Scott Hend, Jason
Scrivener and Wade Ormsby all missed the cut as did Asian Tour representatives
Unho Park, Marcus Both and Adam Groom.
