Peter Fowler assumed his familiar position as top Australian on the European Senior Tour at the WINSTONGolf Senior Open in Germany.

Fowler was a model of consistency at the WINSTONLinks course with rounds of 69-70-69 on his way to a T7 finish.

The Sydney native’s 8-under total was two better than Peter O’Malley who claimed a share of 14^th place with scores of 71-69-70.

Mike Harwood and Terry Price were the last of the Australians in the field, Harwood finishing 2-over for the week and T34 with Price 7-over and T49.

New Zealand’s Greg Turner made one of his infrequent appearances on the over 50’s circuit and impressed with scores of 65-71-68 to finish outright third.
