Peter Fowler will be the sole Australian in the European Senior Tour’s penultimate tournament in England this week.

The five-time winner on the Tour will be looking to cement his place inside the top 10 on the Order of Merit at the inaugural European Senior Masters at the Forest of Arden course in Coventry.

Fowler currently sits seventh in the standings and likely to add to his total of five top 10 Order of Merit finishes in his eight years on the Tour.

After skipping the Dutch Masters two weeks ago Fowler will be fresh and while he missed the cut all three times he played this course at the British Masters between 2003 and 2005 the setup will likely be gentler and the competition less fierce this week.
