Heavy fog has hampered the second round of the NSW Open with play delayed this morning.
Play hadn’t even commenced when officials confirmed at 6:45am that a number of holes on the Greg Norman designed Stonecutters Ridge had succumbed to thick fog which rolled in quickly.
This is the second delay the NSW Open has had to endure with round one called off at 3:35pm on Thursday due to heavy rain which resulted in surface water on a number of greens.
While conditions are slowly improving, it is hope play for the second round of the tournament will resume around 8:30am.
