The E-Z-GO Legends Tour resumed after a two month break at Catalina Country Club on the beautiful NSW coast.
Day one produced a perfect day with sunshine and light winds complementing the immaculately presented Championship Course.
Elliott Booth and Chris Fox took advantage of their early start returning 1 under par rounds of 71 to lead the 59 player field.
Booth, at the tender age of 72, completed a rare feat of beating his age.
Chris Hearn of NSW carded an even par 72 with four players a further shot behind on 73, one of which was Order of Merit leader Tim Elliott who’s 73 was the best round of the afternoon.
With prefect weather conditions continuing at Catalina on day two, Krishna Singh made earlier ground playing the front 9 in 5 under 31 including a hole in one at the par 3 on the 7th.
A lost ball on the back 9 saw Singh carding a final round of 71 finishing equal 3rd with David Merriman.
Tim Elliott continued his fine form and took a firm grip on the Order of Merit, with the round of the Tournament 2 under 70 for a 143 total and two shots clear of runner up John Kirchner.
