The 2014 Australian Masters champion missed the cut last week in the European Tour’s Trophee Hassan event but was consistent the week prior in China and will be looking to reproduce that form in Padova.
Since his win at Metropolitan, Cullen has struggled to find a Tour to play full time and will be thankful for the chance to play three consecutive weeks and build some momentum in his game.
He is joined in the field by Scott Arnold, Daniel Gaunt and David Bransdon in a tournament which returns to the schedule for the first time since 2012.
Arnold makes his third start for the year after two mid-field finishes while Bransdon has made one cut and missed another in his debut Challenge Tour campaign.
Gaunt has also teed up twice for one missed cut and a T32 but will be looking to rebuild after failing to qualify for the weekend in Morocco last week.
