Four sub-70 rounds have seen Nick Cullen post his fourth top-10 finish of the Challenge Tour season at the Challenge de Espana.
Cullen fired rounds of 69-69-66-69 to be 15-under for the week at the Iziki Golf Course in the Basque Country for a T8 finish and a cheque for €4,520.
That moved the 2014 Australian Masters champion five places up the season long Road to Oman standings to 35th, Cullen needing to get into the top-15 if he is to graduate to the European Tour in 2018.
Just four events remain on the Challenge Tour schedule for Cullen to achieve that goal though he is presently almost €20,000 outside the number.
Daniel Fox was the only other Australian to play in Spain but missed the cut with rounds of 75-69.
