Riverside Oaks presented difficult conditions in the second round that tested the best trainee’s in Australia.
Burdett, who finished runner up last year, fire 4-under 68 after overnight leader Nick Simpson fell away posting 9-over, while Eliza Huff of Chatswood Golf Club shot 74 to sit 11th and leading female trainee. The cut was made at 12-over (156).
Offering a prize purse of $45,000 the Car Net Auctions NSW/ACT Trainee Championship is the richest state trainee title in Australia
Round 3 will get underway at 8:30am with the final group teeing off at 11:12am.
