Burdett fired 5-under 67 to set up a six shot lead over defending champion and fellow Victorian Deyen Lawson who fired 6-under 66.
"I Played great today and my putting was really strong," said Burdett
"The course demands patience, it’s so easy to make a double bogey out there with the greens as tricky as they are so it was great to get rewarded for good shots out there."
Braydon Becker of West Australia fired an even par 72 to finish the day 1-under to hold third place on the leaderboard while with Alex Pitty of New South Wales sits fourth.
The final round of the Car Net Auctions NSW/ACT Trainee Professional Championship begins at 8:30am tomorrow with the leaders teeing off at 11:12am
