Sydney’s Jamie Arnold has claimed top Australian honours at the One Asia Tour’s Korean Open with a T16 finish.

""Difficult scoring conditions faced the players all week and Arnold’s 72-hole total of 4-under saw him the only Australian inside the top-20.

Arnold played steady golf over the four days at the Woo Jeong Hills Country Club with 14 birdies for the week in his rounds of 71-69-68-72.

Recent NT PGA Champion Jordan Zunic was next best of the Australians at T22, a solid performance for the Wollongong native whose opening 67 had him inside the top-10.

A second round 70 still had him in good position but the 22-year-old found the going more difficult at the weekend with scores of 70-73 to finish 2-under for the week.

Zunic and Arnold were the only Australians to finish in red figures with Steve Jeffress next best at 1-over for the week and T38.

Jason Norris was the last of the Australians to make the cut and finished one shot behind Jeffress in a share of 39th.

Matt Guyatt, Antonio Murdaca, Dohoon Kim, Todd Sinnott, Daniel Valente, Kevin Lee, Michael Choi, Cory Crawford and Nathan Buzimkic all missed the cut while Aaron Pike withdrew after an opening round 77.
