It was the Boo Weekly and Steven Bowditch show at the Australian PGA Championship today.
The best mates have travelled Australia together playing in the BetEasy Masters, Emirates Australian Open and will this week finish their road trip at the Australian PGA Championship.
Spending last week on holidays together, Bowditch showed Weekley some of Noosa, his home town, before heading to the Gold Coast.
"It’s been awesome for me," said Weekley.
"Last week we got to go up to Noosa Beach and hang out and do some fishing and just some relaxation."
While Bowditch added, "It’s always nice to come home to Queensland and see the family. As Boo said, we went out and hung out back on the Sunshine Coast and drove up here Sunday."
"It’s nice to be back on the Gold Coast, I haven’t been here for a while and I’m looking forward to the week."
Not sick of each other yet the pair will play the first two rounds of the Australian PGA Championship together.
They also played together at the BetEasy Masters where Bowditch shot rounds of 67, 75 before going on to finish in a share of 17th while Weekley finished tied 15th with opening rounds of 72, 72.
The bromance continued in Sydney where playing together they finished tied 15th at the end of the four rounds.
"It’s been a blast, not only having him over here but to be able to play every week with him. It’s been great," said Bowditch.
"Not just to show him where we’re from and how we grew up but also our golf courses, the diversity we have over here."
"It’s just wonderful that he came over and took a month away from his home town and his family."
The week is about more than just good fun; Bowditch returns home a PGA TOUR winner and is keen to improve upon past results at the Australian PGA Championship where his best finish has been T8 in 2012.
"Obviously it’s something that I really want to try and put on my resume," said Bowditch.
"I’ve never really been able to compete that well, I never played good at Coolum there; it was really the only place I’ve ever played the PGA."
"This course looks good to me off the tee so I think I can; over the next few years here hopefully do a bit better and not just get some top 10s and top 5s."
"Hopefully I can try and compete on the back stretch."
And if Bowditch is in contention on Sunday, Weekley has every belief that his best mate can take out the title.
"He (Bowditch) comes down the back stretch area, he might be one back or two back, he ain’t going to be the one who’s going to settle for second," said Weekley.
"He’s going to go ahead and try to fire down on it and try to win the tournament."
